What it does

Prompt popup
Type a prompt in the toolbar popup and Grok opens with it pre-filled.
Ctrl+Entersubmits, or just press the button. -
Address-bar keyword
Type
grok, press space, enter your question, and hit Enter. Grok opens with your prompt ready. -
Right-click anything
Select text on any page, right-click, and choose Grok to ask about exactly that passage.

Ask Grok on Google
An Ask Grok button appears on search results to take your query straight to Grok. Toggle it in Options.

Grokipedia on Wikipedia
Article pages show a bar that opens the same topic on Grokipedia. Dismiss it per article and it stays gone.

Ctrl+Shift+G(Cmd+Shift+Gon Mac) opens the popup without touching the mouse.

Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and all Chrome-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, and others) are supported.
Do I have to be logged in to X?
Yes. Grok Button opens Grok for you, so you should already be logged in to X for it to answer.
How do I use the address-bar keyword?
Type grok, press space, type your prompt, and press Enter. Grok opens with the prompt pre-filled.
Can I turn off the Google button?
Yes. Open the extension’s Options page and uncheck the Google Search integration. Everything else keeps working.
Can I hide the Wikipedia bar?
Yes. Close it with the × control and it stays hidden for that article.
What data does the extension collect?
Almost none. A random ID is stored on your device for install analytics, and your prompts live only in your browser until you send them to Grok. Details are on the privacy page.
